About
An alliance built around the organizations that already know their communities.
Mission Network NY is the statewide network of the Alliance of Community Nonprofits — created so independent, community-based organizations can access the capacity larger institutions build in-house.
Why an alliance?
Because capacity, not commitment, is the gap.
Across New York, thousands of community organizations run programs that change lives with very little infrastructure behind them. They aren't short on commitment, creativity, or trust. They're short on grant departments, legal counsel, technology help, and the partnerships that larger institutions treat as standard.
The Alliance exists to close that gap collectively — by connecting organizations to one another and to companies, universities, funders, experts, and volunteers who want to help. No organization gives anything up to participate.

Our vision
A New York where every community organization — in every region — can reach the resources, people, and partnerships it needs, while remaining exactly who it is.
Our model
Shared capacity, not consolidation. Members tell us what they need and what they can share. The network makes connections: funding leads, partners, volunteers, expertise, space, equipment, training, and collaboration.
Our New York focus
Statewide by design: New York City, Long Island, the Hudson Valley, the Capital Region, Central New York, the Mohawk Valley, the Southern Tier, the Finger Lakes, Western New York, and the North Country.
