This page describes our current practices during the founding stage and will be updated as the network and portal develop.
What we collect
Information you submit through our forms: organization details, contact details, mission and program information, stated needs and offers, and any message you write. We also keep basic records of when a submission was received.
How we use it
To understand your organization, follow up with you, and connect you with relevant opportunities, partners, and resources in the network. Newsletter details are used to send the Mission Network NY Brief.
What we never publish
Private contact details, EIN (unless an organization chooses to publish it), internal notes and statuses, donor lists, sensitive participant information, any youth information, private applications, and internal communications.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Information is shared with a partner or another member organization only in ways consistent with why you submitted it, and we ask before featuring an organization publicly.
Privacy levels
As the member portal develops, information will be labeled Public, Member Only, Organization Private, Project Private, or Admin Only, so organizations control what is visible and to whom.
Your choices
You can ask us to update or delete information you submitted, or unsubscribe from the newsletter, at any time by contacting us.
